The advantage of horizontal powder coating plants compared to vertical plants is the high flexibility, with the possibility of high productivity (400-1000 kg/hour) for profiles, sheets or accessories.
DOUBLE-RAIL OVERHEAD CONVEYOR
Designed to transport aluminium sections with loading capacities of 100 Kg at variable speed from 0 to 3 meters per minute.
Type “8” includes an additional conveyor in the pre-treatment process to provide alternating handling of loads, and allowing rapid conveyance from one treatment area to the
PRE-TREATMENT
Type “A”: immersion pre-treatment system comprising degreasing, neutralizing, chromate treatment and associated rinsing tanks. Final rinsing operation with demineralized water.
This pre-treatment process has the capacity to handle loads up to 600 kg.
Type “8”: For stage, spray pre-treatment system providing degreasing, rinsing, chromate treatment and demineralized water rinsing. The system incorporates a tunnel section made of anticorrosion material with water storage tanks and chemical treatment preparation tanks located underneath.
Each sector is separated from the others by means of automatic walls.

DRYER
Type “A”: The drying oven providing forced hot air circulation is equipped with pneumatic door.
Type “8”: Furnace after pre-treatment includes lateral movement of profiles.
VENTILATED PRE-HEATING AREA
In order to minimize heat loss from the curing oven and to equalize the temperature both curing and drying ovens are equipped with ventilated pre-heating area.
CONVEYOR CHANGE
Rail conveyor to enable directional change of work piece trolleys.
AUTOMATIC POWDER PAINTING BOOTH
It is designed for maximum efficiency (providing up to 99% powder recycling). The booth is complete with self-cleaning filters and pneumatic system. Everything is easily removable to enable quick colour change. The highly efficient system enables the air to be recycled in the work area. The spray gun units incorporate variable speed vertical reci-procators.
Providing uniform electrostatic powder coating. On request, a second spray booth can be supplied to minimize colour change time.
MANUAL BOOTH
The manual booth is designed for final touch up of difficult pieces and tor production of limited quantities of profiles.
PAINT CURING OVEN
Structure manufactured in strong galvanized steel sheets. External thermal insulation comprising rockwool panels with suitable density. Heat generation complete with steel combustion chamber with extremely high thermal resistance. Highly efficient hot air fans guarantee perfect temperature uniformity.
ELECTRICAL CONTROLBOARD
Switch board for control of all plant operations, complete with synoptic display panel indicating various process stages. AII materials used in electrical construction comply to current standards
WASTE WATERS TREATMENT PLANT
The chromate will be reduced and precipitated. The final filtration permits the partial recycling of the water used.
