Mechanical finishing (brushed finishing)

MODEL 5104 (3+3 BRUSHES)

This machine is employed to polish aluminium profiles for architectural use.

The obtained finish has a fine, mechanical satin and excellent appearance (like Scotchbrite). On this brushing machine are fitted special metal brushes that do not need polishing paste and do not produce dust. The brushes (3 above and 3 below), cooled with water sent by special sprayers, are arranged to work at the same time on two faces of the profiles.

The electrical controls are at low voltage and they are centralized on a control board placed on the machine in front of the operator. The motion of the upper bed for the insertion of the profiles which have to be polished is carried out by compressed air supplied by a special built-in compressor. The lubrication of the main parts is automatic and manual lubrication is minimum. The high performance of this machine allows to obtain a polished product at a comparatively low cost.

MODEL S104V8 (4+4 BRUSHES)

This machine is employed to polish alumini­um profiles for architectural and industrial use.

Finishes range from mechanical steel brushed satin, to resin-brushed satin (Tinex) and Scotchbrite brushed finish. The brushes (4 above and 4 below) cooled with water fed by special sprayers are arranged to work at the same time on two faces of the profiles.

The upper bed for the insertion of the pro­files to be polished, is set in motion by com­pressed air supplied by a special built-in compressor.

Pressure can be adjusted on each brush inde­pendently or at the same time so that access to each brush for adjustment is possible and all the brushes can be regulated when chang­ing the section of the profile while leaving the pressure unchanged. Brush speed can be adjusted by inverters operating on pairs, 1 above and 1 below, making it possible to work from 400 to 1200 rpm and get the best performance from the various types of brush­es (e.g. steel, Tinex, Scotchbrite, etc.) by using them in different combinations.

MODEL S104V12 (6+6 BRUSHES)

This machine is used to polish aluminium profiles for architectural or industrial use. Results vary from a mechanical satin finish to a resin (Tinex) brush satin finish.

These water – cooled brushes, 6 superior and 6 inferior, are placed in a way that they can work on two sides of the same profile at the same time. Circling motion can be adjusted independently for each brush couple and varies from 400 to 1000 rpm (revolutions/minute) for 5 pairs of brushes, and from 80 to 210 rpm (revolutions/minute) for 1 pair of brushes.

The electronic commands are all low voltage and are centralized in a single mobile panel, in order to facilitate the brushes adjustment. This mobile panel is conveniently located next to the profile insertion cavity. The superior panel’s movement, used for the insertion of profiles, is activated by compressed air supplied by a special built-in compressor. Pressure adjustment of each brush can be made independently or all at the same time, this way each brush can be adjusted allowing it’s regulation when changing the profile section, without having to change the pressure. The S 104 V12 is also furnished with drying blowers for finished profiles.
